about

A cover version of I Forgot To Push It, by Happy the Man. Multi-track recording from the summer of 2009. The session was done fairly quickly in our old rehearsal facilities in the basement of the school Hersleb in a rather rough part of Oslo.

We've always been devoted fans of Happy The Man, and due to the fact that Happy The Man and Panzerpappa have a very similar line-up doing a cover version of one of their tunes seemed like a very natural thing to do. We had to change the key of the tune to accommodate for the alto saxophone playing the duet-section with guitar instead of HTM's original guitar/keyboard-rendering. Moving the song from G major to D major gives it quite a different feel.

It's a really fun tune to play live, and it still pops up in our set-lists from time to time.
