about

Recorded live at Amatøren, Oslo in 2005.

"Kliving i masti er forbode det er fårleg å komme burti dei elektriske leidningane og festi deira", which translated into English becomes something like "Climbing the pole is prohibited. It is dangerous to come into contact with the electrical wires and their connectors.", is easily the longest song title in the Panzerpappa catalog. It surfaced in the earliest days of the band and appears on the debut album " ..... passer gullfisk" ("baby-sitting goldfish"). It was written by Panzerpappa's first guitarist, Knut Tore Abrahamsen, and the title of the tune comes from the warning sign on a power pole as Knut Tore remembered it from his childhood. The studio version was recorded in November or December 2000 and features the first appearance of Trond´s self-made string instrument (only one string!), the trondophone.

about

Panzerpappa Oslo, Norway

Panzerpappa! ... more
